Welcome to the Papico Web SiteWe are a privately owned company with all of our shares owned by the Directors.
We are one of the leading paper agency companies in the UK involved in many market
sectors e.g. papers for wet glue labels & flexible packaging; Recycled papers
for publishing; General sheet and web offset printing; Direct mail; Gummed and
Self adhesive papers, and many others.
Our Company began life in 1977 as a subsidiary of Robert Horne Group. With my fellow Directors, Gerald Gaynor, Nigel Hurford and Chairman Peter Chilton, I led a management buyout in 1989.
Since then we have expanded the portfolio of the mills we represent and now have
a number of speciality producers.
In July 2004 we moved into our new offices in Allerton Bywater, 8 miles east of Leeds. Owning our own building is important to us and the old Coal Board head office was an ideal opportunity. 18 months of renovation are now thankfully behind us.
We are a strong company with an excellent well earned reputation. Our mills and customers are equally important to us, they keep us sharp from both ends!
