Hurum is a privately owned mill with two paper machines.  MG bleached kraft is produced in the range from 40-100gsm.  This is used in the general bag market for laminating, for coating and the envelope markets amongst many others.

 

The MF machine uses predominantly strong high quality recycled kraft fibre.  The mill operates a post-consumer recycled pulp plant where, beverage cartons are processed into high quality fibres for paper and board and, the residuals into energy and steam for the paper plant.

 

Hurum supply many specialist markets with their recycled MF products. Priority markets  include the envelope market, particularly for high speed filling machines, cup stock market with a bleached and unbleached material for disposable drink cups, the laminating market, office filing board, boutique bags and offset paper and board.
