Salzer

The Salzer family have been produced paper at their mill in St. Polten, Lower Austria, for more than 200 years. Currently the mill is owned and run by the 8th generation of the family.

Salzer specialises in the production of wood-free book papers for high-quality hardcover books and premium paperbacks under their Salzer EOS brand. Every third hardcover book in Europe uses Salzer paper. In addition to the EOS range of wood-free, plain, ribbed and digital book papers, Salzer also offer Salzer Alpin, a bulky mechanical paper used for the production of paperback books and a range of products under the Salzer Design brand umbrella.
